Alison is hands down the best house sitter you could ask for. She took such great care of my dog, Coco. She was great with communication, while not sending me info every day (per my request). Everything was perfect when I got home and it's very obvious Coco misses her, while still loving on me after a month away. We had wonderful chats before and after the sit and she was very supportive while I was on my trip (as it was a rough one for me). I just wish she was driving distance from me so I could have her come back easily!

If you have a chance to use Alison as your pet sitter do it. She took a wonderful care of our fur babies, send us pictures along the way, and was very self-sufficient when a couple of things went wrong at the house like batteries dying, etc.. I’m a big boy with an even bigger heart, and she understands me perfectly. When she works from home, I like to sit right at her feet so she never forgets I’m there.

Alison did a great job house sitting and watching Blue 🐶 for 2 weeks while we were away on vacation. Blue is a bundle of energy, a muscular Pitbull boxer cross and she did an excellent job walking him daily and giving him snuggles at night 🥰.
She took care of the home and also vacuumed the pool multiple times to keep it looking nice for us when we came back. A nice touch at the end she cleaned the whole home so it looked clean for when we got back. 🙂 She is a professional at what she does and I’d definitely use her again! Blue misses Aunty Alison and looks forward to their next adventure together. 💙 🐶

Hi, I’m Precious! When my mom had to move into a care home and could no longer look after me, I was scared and didn’t know what would happen. But, Auntie AlyCat moved right into my home, gave me cuddles, kept my routine, and made sure I felt safe and loved every single day. She even gave me my medicine without any fuss and let me nap on her chest whenever I wanted.
But she didn’t stop there — she promised me she would help me find a new forever home. And she did! She wrote my story, shared it with the world, and found me the perfect new mama to love me for the rest of my golden years.

When I got sick right after Alison arrived, she didn’t panic—she scooped up me and my sister Ninja and took us straight to the vet (rude, but necessary). Now I’m on some fancy food that’s helping my little urinary tract feel way better. Ninja’s just glad Alison stopped dragging her on road trips. These days, we lounge in the sun by the window while Alison finishes work, and at 4:00 sharp, we all dance around the living room as the sun dips behind the mountains. Gracie and I are lucky to have had Alison stay for the month of March. When meeting via zoom for a 'get to know you', Alison was calm, friendly and knowledgeable about cats. When we met the night before I left, she arrived right on schedule and fit right into our evening activities and learning about the house and Grace. When I'm out of the country and gone for a month, I so appreciate a sitter coming in early for this type of hand over. Alison kept in touch the perfect amount. If there was something that came up she would connect but otherwise was quite self sufficient. Grace was relaxed and happy when I got home. Alison even taught me a trick with one of her toys to make getting treats more of an adventure than just me giving them to her. Alison was a great communicator throughout the entire two-week sit, as well as pre- and post. She took excellent care of our two cats, including giving one of them a daily medication and sending us occasional pictures as reassurance. We feel so lucky to have had Alison look after our 2 beloved dogs and our home, for the month of December. We worried that finding a sitter over Christmas would be challenging ... we hit the Lotto, in finding Alison!! Not only is she a fabulous pet sitter, but she is also a wonderful person. Alison faced some challenges with our pooches, and with our "new to us" home ... and she handled everything with ease. She had to take our senior dog to the Vet, and she stayed in contact with us through the whole process, and handled all follow-up care, exceptionally well. Alison is very organized, self-sufficient and tidy. We returned from our holiday, to happy boys (aka - dogs) and a spotless house. Alison looked after both the house and Freddie, my 6 year old Sheltie, with great care and consideration. She was very experienced in looking after a home, and was thorough in getting to know the house and all that was expected in looking after it and Freddie. While I was away she sent regular short updates with photos so that I could see that Freddie was doing well, and I returned to a happy and healthy dog and a perfectly clean home. Alison was amazing from the start! We don't have kids with my husband so our puppy and 2 kitties are very much our children. I contacted Alison based on her website and her answers were prompt, she met us ahead of time, during first visit she immediately befriended our pets and asked a lot of great questions. And during our time away we had regular messages and pictures how everyone is doing. We could see our babies were comfortable and well cared for. We came home to tidy house and relaxed pets. Hey guys, I’m Theo — the goodest boy and proud guardian of daily adventures! Aunty Alison has been staying with me for over 3 months now, while Karen has been away and let me tell you… we’ve been having the BEST time! We go on epic walks and hikes every day and I’ve been showing her all my favorite sniff-spots.

Hi! My name is Reggie (The Cat)... My mom keeps telling Auntie Alison that she will write a review for her, but my mom keeps forgetting! I really wish that Auntie would come back soon and take care of me because she is really good at cuddling on the couch and feeds me lots of treats when I cry for 5 minutes! I can't believe how clean my litter box was and she kept vacuuming up behind me. I shed a lot, but my fur is a dream to touch so I keep close to Auntie at all times. Alison was an amazing dog sitter! She treated Reggie so well, she took him to the dog park and on walks in the park. He got more exercise with her than he does with us! She was so thoughtful and prepared as well about making she sure had all of his vet information, and neighbours contact information “just in case”. Alison surpassed my wildest expectations as a house/pet sitter. She arrived early, totally organized, took notes on care for all of my pets, practiced handling my parrot, paid attention to all the nuances of cat care, and won my dog over in no time. Alison is an excellent sitter! First, and foremost, she is great at communicating. We had a lovely Face Time introduction, which was a first for us, and we felt secure in our selection. For this trip, we had an opportunity to leave a day early and offered for Alison to arrive early. Although it wasn't planned, she was able to make it work and arrived shortly after we left. Throughout our trip, Alison sent photos and kept us updated on her stay. She left us reassured that our pets (and house) were well taken care of. Upon our return, the sheets were cleaned and replaced, the floors were swept and the house was in immaculate condition. I'm not sure if it's our cats, or Alison has a gift, but they didn't miss us at all! I highly recommend Alison as a pet (and house) sitter and I hope to have her come back again! ~ Tom
